first demosong of "All About Evil"

since a short time i joined a group called "All About Evil". they make melancholic songs in which they complain about all the evil in the world. the concept is really cool, cause they will have projections of all kinda distasters in the world while they perform live. the group consist of 3 guitarplayers (Kristof, Kristien and Mathias) and 1 ableton-/reason-/synth-player (me). this is the first song on which i added my elements (synths en drums) to see if my style fits with the general idea they have about their music. they seemed very enthousiastic when they heard my work in the track and now i'd like to have your opinion. mind that the guitar-recording is of bad quality, cause it is recorded with a dictaphone (not with a decent mic or so) and i had to do a lot of noisereduction on it. i also want to add news-flashes of disasters in it to give it that extra mood.

wow, this seems quite popular :)) there are 3 more tracks in the same genre on this moment that still have to be worked on. my groupmembers said that they like it very much, but they think the drums should be deleted... i understand why they find that: they played that song without me or without my influences for quite some months, and now suddenly all kinda electronic i thrown over it. any thoughts about it? personally i kinda like the drums in such a track, but i'll check out how it is without drums and a bit more other elements.

This is very well-done Firefrog, didn't really know what to expect after reading your description, but it's music to dream away with. Just lay back, close your eyes and enjoy... All About Evil??? I'd say All About Melancholy, or maybe All About Dreams. Such dreamy stuff, great! Add some soft female vocals, and you'll something wonderful! More of this please!
