i can't say i dig this one :s melody is uninspiring imho; also try to make several layers instead of playing the same melody with your 101 and 303. it's good that u have a 909 (better beats than your previous tracks), but don't overdo it: think of how your drums can make it all good intead of just playing around patterns. i mean: 909 an 303 are as old as the street by now, so u can't make innovative things with it anymore. this means that u'll need to do it in another way. not just a 909-pattern with a 303-filterloop, but working with efx, pads, glitches, ... the distortion on the beat is also very cliché; instead try to work with several beats on top of eachother or efx on the beat (filtered reverbs or delays) to make it more powerfull. and what about making variation in your 303-melody, putting efx on the 303, or playing several 303-sounds's on of of eachother? acid is way more than just 2 or 3 vintage-machines. this is already better than your your previous tracks, but there is still a long way to go

Can't say I agree with firefrog, but that is probably a question of taste. A song doesnt need to be innovating to be decent or good. In fact innovation sucks and is what fucks up modern music nowadays in my opinion. The beat is a bit on the shallow side, true, but hey I make shallow, basic stuff all the time :) I like the acid most, The melody is a bit funky, but at least you push those filter knobs and make it squeek and quelsh, where other often bring boring acid lines, even if they use 30 different patterns. Give us more of this aciiiit. Cheers.
