Not bad but need some mastering and EQing imo. And yes, the beat is a bit empty without HiHats. Sounds like Ed Banger Dubstep for me.
i like the ideas indeed, but a bit more variation, maybe a second main synth and some hi hats as corben said. though i don't think it's to dirty, i like the raw sounds, everything has to sound so 'clean' these days.. cool start, now let it evolve
a bit too distort for me but I think if you work on the mastering you can make a boomwoomshakala track!
