some called it fruit, some said ,it cant be any better then this; then you are in for a surprize!! enjoy it while you can; greetz
ok, since you seem to want critical comment from me... here we go ;-) the following is of course just my opinion; *rythm = basic, but just appropriate for this kind of track (so good) *strings and trumps = not good (they sound much to 'easy' for me) *rhodes = main melody is ok, fancy rhodes melodies you put on top are not Ok (they sound too easy, not convincing) also timbre of rhodes is not optimal. *bassline = very very nice one *mastering/mix = as usual in your case this is pretty good. So as you see, I think there are some good elements, combined with bad ones... I think you should focus on a more minimalistic approach of your tracks. Use a very basic structure and don't try to make things too fancy. ... seems my opinion on this track is a little different then the other ebel members here... kr, eddie
a very nice track...
Yeayea C'est-Qui... Soundz nice again.... But will have to relisten this evening on my better speakers... I'll let ya know...Greetingz >>> Yeah...sounds even better here @ home :) Like them rhodes chords & those trumpet 'drop's... Thisone's got potential... I'm curious what will become after a few 'edits' ;) Good job!
comment below ;-)
i didn't tought you could make it better..but then again, you are c'estqui ;) it is majorly good!!!
If music was fruit, this would taste like strawberry. :p Fingerlikkin' atmo u've created here... A very simple rim-pattern could alter a lot though, in a good sense only if it's a gentle, subtile plop placed on the right place at the right time. It's the first time i really cant say much.. so i'll keep it to this: Keep bringin' them on ! ! !
well, that's good commenting, only iff i knew what tiimbre is all bad elements you put out,are very right, worked even out a warmer bazeline, more realisme in those strings(combinator),and for those rhodes ;;;hmm your the specialist i trust your opinion(do ya mean the solo) this has to be perfect,so in order to become perfect,'i all need your ctritisme at max thx in advance, greetz, thx eddie
thehehe, well could work out i have to spin my funky un-commercial house on the beach in nederlanths, with live saxofonist, and he's even belgian nationalety, been there ,played with him, asked him already, only a question of time keep them comming ,those comments, thx
O_o!!!! this track really blows my hair off!! it ROOOOOOOOCkS!!!!!! idd, maybe a sax would be veery koewl! but are there any synths that can simulate a sax that good? or will u hire a pro-sax-payer?
I think the saxlab vst is the best option for now. It's a free download on http://www.linplug.com/Download/download.htm very usefull full working demo. Try some things out and you'll see that dutch/belgian saxplayer will surely fit in.
