nicest one yet on all levels for me,just now the second part has to be writen out,but this sound is clean(exept some minor details)heheh,also chords are in minor,still funky though!! and damn,that wurli sound is adictive(changed a lot of delay) this reason file also contains a nnxt sampler just for the cymbal hits(6 diffr),just to have the advantage to dont be repetetive(velocety<>volume-level)to spicen them up i used some body,with auto en some res enjoy this funky ass bazeline and rythm greetz ya peepz
errrr ... hmm :-/ i mean no disrespect, but this song gives me a headache. your percussion is mixed way to upfront, and i fail to feel any groove or drive in it. and for the melody, i hear a LOT of notes that do not fit. also, your instruments are completely mudded in reverb, which makes them sound like an aquarel painting that has been lying in the rain. sorry if i'm being rude, but we all need some criticism sometimes in order to learn and improve our production skills. if you need some good examples of funky house music, perhaps listen to some of eddie's songs.. greets and respect
you are wright about criticisme,but may be i entent to do that >>delay on wurli and reverb,ya are right about the rest of the instruments,may be i'll do less work on those instruments,and do them clean but then i have the feeling its to easy,want to have that johnny fiaso sound >>that everything sounds far and distant ,but also close enough to hear greetz & respect to everyones opinion keep that comment comming
