Contest

There is a contest, with which all musicians and bands can participate, who produce electronic music at home or professionally in the Studio. This contest is not reserved for professionals to send in CD-finished songs, it is more about the fact to have a good idea converted into music. The sent material must in each case however be finished in the sense of having converted this good idea already. Please do not send us "under constructions".

The winners of this contest will find their song on a Compilation, which will be out next year, is going to have an artist promotion contract with Sonofon Production Studios and the possibility of taking up an own CD that will be distributed by Sonofon Production Studios.

The Contest begins to 28.09.2006 and ends if actual sufficient Songs are present around

a brilliant Compilation to bring on the market, however at the earliest to 01.01.2007.

The participation is free of charge.

i'll definitely be entering a couple!

also i have a few queries if anyone can help!

  • whens the closing date
  • they don't want "cd finished songs" or "under construction songs". what exactly do they want? & what is the definition of a "cd finished song". i mean, i have songs which i would say aren't under construction, i'm finished with them. do these count?

whats the craic?

This contest seemsvery subjective...

so as I understood that closing day is when they estimate there are enough people taking part...

when they don't want "cd finished songs" but neither "under construction"... I guess the concept must be finished... not songs where you say... "sorry there's still a bassline missing, or vocals will be added later."

so I guess most songs suit!

and knowning your... I'm sure they fit fine!

Whats the craic? >>> My urban slang dictionnairy translates this by: "whats the fun?"

... so I guess I didn't understand this part of the question! ;) ;) ;)
