I was picturing some jazz musicians, in New Orleans or something, playing at a 'brown' bar with a glas of whiskey... Still needs a bass line. I'm going to ask my brother to play it so will have to wait on that.
much better
nice melody Jan... it has a really chill vibe... i think mastering is nice... good job :)
yeah its ableton. I don't understand what you guys mean. Piano sounds fine to me. It isn't stretched a lot (maybe 5 bpm or so) so that shouldn't be a problem. I know that ableton can be tricky with those things and it sucks...
I adjusted the warp method (beats-->complex). Should sound better now.
Nice, I want that flute sample too, about the piano, sounds really too stretched, use that 'complex' or 'repitch' warp mode, this sounds like the 'beats' warp mode
i'm guessing ableton, right? icteder makes a good point though. your piano would be more effective if it wern't for the stretching. nice flute :)) thumb up
very nice! the bar recording on the background adds to the vibe, can't wait to hear the version with the bass...
the piano and flute come from "Big Fish Audio - Nu Jazz City Vol 2". The other sounds are from some other sources.
oeh yeah, starts of great with the people in the back talking, very fonky and chill atmo =) where did you get the flute and stuff? oneremark: maybe the kick is a bit too dance - like?
jo jo, i've got the impression that the stretching on the samples you've used is not ideal. what application do you use to produce?
