Felt like trying to make some dubstep... Well it's not the style i feel the most comfortable with (procduction speaking), but it's always good i think to go towards things you're not likely to do once in a while, it makes you learn new stuff. Now, have a look at that misty landscape, meet the souls and yeah, don't mind Charon, he's a bit grumpy doing always the same trip back and forth... (ah bass needs a bit of cleaning, will take care of that after i got some feedback)
nice happy melodies, but I think their sweetness would contrast better with a speaker cracklin, monster of a bassline. maybe you can keep this one and add a deep sub or something your first kick needs more punch. cool rythms, i like the 4-4 beat that drops in near the end, I would elaborate on that, cause that part is to short now. nice producing, good variation
okay okay :) , I'll work that bass out, probably make it deeper and louder, that way i probably won't need a sub. you like the final "straight" part, huh ?? Well i was out of idea to go further into that, but if i get one, i'll surely extend it. Thanks for your time
Globaly it's good work. Each sound coming well, and it sounds very clean. But some of your sounds doesn't make very dubstep style. Your kick and snare are bit poor, the organ key is a bit to "synthetic" and the basseline sounds too much "video game". But the "cracks", and all litle shits arround the beat are great. I like the way you get variations and play with the vibe.
Agree with that :) In fact I noticed quite late that my sounds were quite "chiptunesque" :D, and in fact you could see it as "my own" dubstep thingy...but in fact yeah, it wasn't really meant to be like that, I just used what came, so to speak. About the kick and snare, i'm going to spice up the beat. thanks for feedback
