New darkstep track with a sprinkle of hardcore on top Low KB/sec version Unit 731 is to Japan what doctor Mengele was to Auswitch. Unit 731 is an institution, a unit of the Japanese army that conducted medical tests on US, European and Chinese citisens during the second world war. Unit 731, unther Shiro Ishii, performed living disections, did high pressure tests, tested biological warfare and more on Japanese state-prisoners. The intro is pretty soft but with a threatning mood in it. The breaks part is very hardcore oriented with lots of glitches and details. Pleased with the result. I made every synth, bass, kicks, stabs, atmo, texture from scratch and I made some new breaks especially for this track (to be rid of all the naggers who claim that reusing your own sounds is lame) Sounds made using the operator and general Ableton Live 7 FX Vocals taken from The Elephant Man and Hard Candy comments are welcome! I uploaded a preview version, Basement Plague recordings asked me for another song to release so I gave them this one. mengele was in fact just the assistent of von verschuer (weetje tussen de soep en de patatten), so the angel of death was in fact the assistent of the real angel of death. never heard of unit whatsoever actually. you keep us updated on the horrors all over the world, all over history. about the track: nice to hear a new one, it's been a while. cool hardcore orientated song, very cof. thumb.
