A bit more powerful, trancy and 'full' than the previous one - still acid trance, still inspired by Bassline Baby, this time 152 BPM. Needs some (EQ-)work but I'm pretty happy about it, technical/structural-wise -> it's intro - goegaan - trancy - goegaan/outro :p I think it's one of my better ones, danceable with enough variation to make the 7 minutes worthwhile, but that's of course for you to decide ^^. -- Edit: edited the sound a bit of everything, more variety and playing with the acid, a bit cleaner sounD. Second edit: a bit more bass (keeps the hit rate going :p ), also cleaned out little structural mistakes. Third upload: see above. Uploaded the wrong song, it's back now :p -- Greets and please leave a comment after listening :) ReGenBooWgkUzjAHhh
very nice track. only coment is that the clap is a litlle too quiet and the thin snare thingy you use is a lot too quiet and needs a little more reverb. also some of the high melody leads could use a little bit of reverb
Nice one! Indeed some eq work.. but very nice start! greets
@ ShiZen: well I didn't want the clap to be as powerful as the kick or something. And with the thin snare thing, do you mean the snare I use for the build ups? Cuz' I don't use any other snares! Anyway, fixed the high leads a bit, they stand out a bit more bit it's definitely not perfect, it's not really my speciality :p Thanks for the comments... :)
dunno, it sounds a bit like a rimshot, when you hit the metal edge of a snaredrum. clap doesn't have to be much louder, max 0,5db but i think it would give more power. and the slight reverb on the high leads make them more 'real' sounding and fuller sounding, i didn't feel they were too silent
Ooo yeah the rim, forgot all about that one haha. Olraajt I'll work on that & the rest, thanks!
anonymous was me ;)
yes good one! thumb up! you just need a little better eq, maybe some surprises in your compo but i like a lot what you have, great acid lines, good synthesis
dude i really like this track, trancy without going over the top, nice build up, cool acidlines, good tweakin, cool atmo, without any doubt the best i heared from you. what DAW do you use? id love to produce something together. grtz!
I use FL8, and that's a great idea! Check yer mailbox :-) Thanks for all the replies!
