°02 of 05 ... last month, i started to work on a project i abandoned a few years ago where i was asked to write some music for a theater play in co-op with the Ghent based Chinese Art Foundation ... it's was monologue with a lot of interaction between the actor and the images/pieces of film that are projected in a 360° circle all around him and the audience and that represent his thoughts ... the play is about the everyday life of an ordinary guy living and working in a cement-factory in Beijing who overhears a conversation between 2 of his superiors discussing the gruesome torture of a good friend and colleague of his ... due to circumstances, i never got the chance of doing the performance back then, but i figured i might just as well finish what i started.

man, thats some fine-ass soundtrack. real good quality,sound, mood and composition-wise. petje af (what d'you use for the strings? iv been using edirol's Orchestral lately.)
I don't know why exactly. Question of feeling : it could be the soundtrack of one of my favorite fantasy film. And by the way I'm a violin and cello addict so all elements together make me just mad.

:) *blush* ^^ well, thx a bunch ... glad there is so much reaction on these ... didn't think anyone would notice really ow, and Skip, i think i used the Sony Media Software • Numina II for the strings part, although it is quite some time ago now
