Hello Electrobel! This song is far from finished, but I got stuck.... I kept changing things & working on the same sounds... So i've recorded the basics to post.... Perhaps you guys can give me some comments that can lead to some more inspiration... I know thisone should be placed in the UC zone, but almost nobody comes there unfortunately :( Sorry @ Zark for that ! :§ I haven't put any fx or voices in it yet and not all of the sounds are how they are supposed to be in my head...But hell yeah... They're always different :-) This is my first ' real' song made with cubase, midi, vst's, etc... But I still have a long way to go... a very long way.... I wish I had more time like some of you guys.. :-) I hope you'll all enjoy this one.. Bump'n regards! Fun-K
hello, comments after the first listening First I would 1. change the bd (or kick), 2. remove the reverb effect, the sound is far, as you have recorded your session with a mic. Work on your linedrum, to render it closer to your ears, with compression for example. 3. the reverb gives a distance also with the chords. another reveb?? delay??? give more presence... Good for the rest, continue
stop hitting those same cymbals all the time, getting nervous of them, hehehe>>sound a bit (braaf),would change that piano-like melody to a real wurlitzer>> vocals would fit in that track for sure>>>enough negativety>>what i like is the back atmos and the tweety pad -sound,the bazeline is not bad qua melody, but my monitors gives clips and i aint even on 40 percent of max level so now ya have some opinion,so get to work ps>>save ya projects in sub-saves,so ya can return to older versions if it gets fucked up greetz
If u begin, it's a nice begining :). need some inspiration? here is my tip...when i compo. i imaginate a story a background u see? i m in my music, and i tell u a story, use ur imagination put some picture into ur brain...draw,paint if u like that...use ur sensibility it's the secret. give a soul to ur compo. if ur compo have a story the inspiration will come easily...it's my own tip, i dunno if that will work wif everybody :)
