my first attempt into making GOA, plz give some comments
you have some good elements in the track but you use them in a sloppy way, the track doesn't sound tight. and it doesn't always sounds right. try starting with the kick and then slowly bring in that typical goa synthline while you have some sound FX playing in the background then bring in that long synthpad you use at the ending , drop the kick, some more sound fx and then.......BAM ! let it blast. :D it's just a example of what you could do. greets isnieZot
i think you have to reshape your kick too. its a flat remake of a goakick in my opinion. The sound fx u use are not bad. But the acid-like melody is in my opinion not good. Also, typîcal in goa is the building up in layers. One on top of the other ...so you can let it explode. Try to use typical goa trance snds. Or sometimes more experimental goa uses less melody and less layer structure and more freacky soundfx. Perhaps thats a way too. Anyway, that is just my opinion. I must say I'm not a real goa expert, so feel free to shuve my comment up my ass if you want ;-) greetz en respect
Way to go, this is a great song. I don't care if the structure isn't right for a "stile"! As long as the result is good.
The track isn't really goa, but more Psy-trance... But there is not that style on lectrobel yet... personnally I find that track boring... But i don't like neo-psytrance with a lot of noise and without full melodies so don't take it bad :-) also I have to said that the overall sound could be better...
a good first attempt!.. but here are some commentz: theres an fx that makes me feel i'm in a small room(change that) i like the way u use sounds and not melodic song!.. BUT!! you must try to use more samples or selfmade synth sounds. try to build up and come down as i said before! nice first tryout i like the way you think.. i'm a big psytrance (dark) lover.. keep on doing your thing the more you make! the more you'll understand what "mastering" is about.. for psytrance "mastering" is the key to succes greetingz
Great soundfx, but basicz too minimalistic, and the star wars fx at the end is where i give up...
