my last projects haven't been as succesfull as i hoped but i guess getting the hang of ableton took a bit longer then i expected but now! really, really pleased with this one! chose the name cause it simply says what this song is about, returning to the basics, keeping it simple but putting every element in the right place i've put it in general but i'm not really sure if it's finished, might make it a bit longer etc... but all there is now, will stay as it is comments are really appreciated since i don't want to have the idea i made a good song if it's not the case :) cheers all
yo! generally I prefer heavy wobble bass dubstep but this one has a very nice deep & dark atmospher. Minimalistic built up. Shurely can do it longer with out really adding new sound. May be shorts low sine wobble passages could be nice? just an idea. Deff a nice one! 1 Up
nice overall sound neil! I'm trying the ableton thing too but I'm afraid I'm a slow learner with lack of persistence, or just a plain limited hardware freak, could be both ;-)

thx for comments fellas, i might indeed make it a bit longer then and yeah monk, i can imagine it takes time to switch from 3D to 2D haha you might ask jef for some advise, i bet he can teach you some tricks and stuff
nice track, like the expermentalism in it. I'd just EQ the snare differently maybe layer onother one on top. Also watch out with the subsample, here's some klicking in it, try getting it out. nice track thumbs
