This is a track for "Mr Spartako", the hip-hop band I'm part of. Actually it's the first track I made with a MC. When I met Double M we recorded his lyrics on another track of mine but his voice didn't fit the track's sounds. So I created a brand new track based on his voice, his flow and his depressed lyrics (which totally fit my style I think) We recorded the lyrics again, but in a studio and MC Pannekoek made the backing vocals and the vocal scratch. I like to label this track as "hip-hop tronica" PS : the track is not mastered yet.

The music is very very nice! but i dont really like those french rhymes.. maybe deform them more.. but hey, thats a matter of taste.. (btw the parts where he sings are really good, its just when the fat hiphopnigga in him wakes up and starts ryhming the place together' ;) for me it duznt fit the track ) anyway nice track! :p
thanks to everyone for the interesting comments ! about the MC'ing... it's true that Double M has a special flow (which makes me think to Fuzati's one), and not everyone likes it. I reckon it takes some time to be used with but he did a great job on this track and I really love what he does so... Expect other tracks from mine with him at the mic ! :P
yeah it's more like downtempo with spoken word than hiphop. i like the music a lot but i don't think the vocals work very well: the MC'ing lacks punch and character, and the overlaid parts sound too chaotic. needs some work but sounds promising!
