one and a half year ago, i made a remix of my "trip to paris", with some laurent garnier sounds in my head. i still think the track is quit good, but the only matter was that there was lots of noise in it (because of bad soundcard). a few weeks ago, i did a hell of a job with it: i deleted avery noisepart of every channel of the track. for example: the bleep-sounds in the beginning consist actually of some peeks, instead of a real wave-form, so i deleted the noise between every peek in that piece of sound! the same for the beat, snare, hihats, .... i hear u say: "why not using a noise reducer?". well, the noisereducers i have suck big time :p mind that this track was made in my beginning stage: with freeware; no midi, only self-made wave-samples...
Good samples and riffs. But what's that with your bass? That just ruins your song?! In my oppinnion tho. Cheers
what do you exactly mean with the bass? is it the cutted bass-sound that comes in at 4:55?
Nice track! I can hear the influence of 'sound of the big baboo'. I don't know if it was your intention, but in the beginning of the track something doesn't seem to be 100 percent quantized. In the 2nd half it seems to be straightened out. Other than that, good job!
Very sweet synths and strings, too bad I haven't heard more of your work before, there are some damn good tunes in your portfolio...
