The elements you added fit really well in the song, even though I prefer the first version. (maybe because I'm used to listening to this one).

so, you made it shorter :). i must say that i liked the original countdown in all its simplicity better. I got the feeling here that you're trying to reach a higher level with the drums, but since the rest of the track is still at the (fonky) amateur stage, they don't go together very well. Don't get me wrong here, i'm not saying you shouldn't try to better yourself. it's just that the strength of the original is this almost childlike naïve approach. but the added stuff is good.
