just an exercice with some soundfonts... no mastering at all. I like the guitarsound. If this is your only attempt to get to now my music... try other tracks please...It's been quite a while since I posted something new but I have some serious (read: imho good tracks) tracks waiting to get finished.
love the eerie strings in the background, and the drums give it a jazzy feel. The guitarsound is fine indeed. I don't like the bells you use in the beginning, they seem completely pointless and lost in the song. Around 3' you bring in some sort of wobbly powerchord thingy, I like that, it gives something original to the song.
Cool relax tune... Like the strings and the chord combinations.. It has a mysterious Royksöpp mood wich I really dig... I'd make the drumz maybe a bit more triphoplike, kinda like Royksöpp use, but yea... No need to copy them, just do your thing... It's what my guts is telling me, nothing more :) Don't like the bell('s) neither in the beginning... I'd say continue this... Me likes to hear it even more worked out :) Grtz! (Second listen --> definetly agree with Rabauw on the wobbly thing... The second part of the track is best... I'd concentrate on that & maybe get quicker to it, meaning less intro? Dunno, just a suggestion...)
that's why it's in CZ... thanks for the ideas I'll continue the track...
good track, strange structure thou, i hear you love your new guitar !!! ( maybe a little too much )
omg ur the best lolz!!!
thx for the comments
if your new music will be somewhat like this, u got a fan... this needs more work, but as you said, it's ICZ... I like the mood of the track, and I love the guitar, now it's building on the structure imho... good job so far...
The main guitar part after the intro would be perfect for a harpsichord (I love that instrument)...there's still lots of noise in your song, but you said it yourself, no real mixing yet. Lose the intro bells, or replace them by some sound that's less to the foreground. A very nice mood and structure overall imo, and I really dig the trumpets (?) @ 1'57" and the wobbly sound, as mentioned before :) What this song really needs is a very silent, but still hearable subbass. I'm eager to hear the finished version ;)
