looking california, feeling minnisota this expression (ao. used by Soundgarden) fits this song quite well sit down, hear the clock ticking and take a deep breath. You will hear a sweet winter melody, layered with a joyfull techy saw and later on, when the piano falls in a surprisingly-sliced-up break (very un-ambient) takes you to an other dimension. I did put some variation in it but not too much, in order not to disturb your thoughts. oh yeah, forgot to say... just the breathing and the long hoovery efx are not my samples - everything else is homemade with love, honey and warm milk. EDIT: i must say that after listening to it once more (after the other 51 times) it appears to me that there might even be too few variation.... thus making it boring!) Will call this version 0,9 so i can still make a newer version of it later)
i love this!!
yeah zelda meet sonic lolllll and they gonna smoke some excellent herbs from mario and luigi ( the nintendo dealers :p )... thats what this one make me think...lolll :)) no jokes, i loooove the moment where the beat comes in... really guud (rea)man an old schoold touch , trippy chiptune pianos... guuudd !!
mhhh I made a trip in tropical places. if you ask me drum could be a bit back (less louder or with reverb) cause I wanted to hear electric piano which is blur.
love the atmosphere. i like the cut up break very much. it drops in quite sudden maybe there could be more of a build-up. altough it works quite well like this as a contrats with the rest. nice one.
Good atmosphere, fresh sounding fluffy song. Nice!
Oh man, that first melody warms my heart up for sure! I gree with aphone, it made me think of Zelda too! Don't ask me why...<br><br>(too bad if html doesn't work... there will just be br's all over the place...)<br><br> I also agree with 101sonic, i also thought the beat was a bit too loud, and that some reverb would be nice. <br><br> What i really like about this track is that very little is actually happening, but it can keep you interested with those few elements. It's difficult to do that. I think some more atmosphere ( maybe some little string like layers in the background? ), some organic sounds maybe would fit in nice, but just too fill up the place a bit. That's the hardest, to keep that melody intact, whilst adding new elements... But really nice work as it is!
Hm, relax behind the laptop it is. ;-) Kom anders 10 februari maar naar Nijlen, kan je persoonlijk foochow Tim halo zeggen, des te meer zielen des te meer vreugd. :-)
I thinks it's kind of weird, but it's ok. I prefer songs such as Gate 24, though. That is just my personal taste, however, and it would not be fair to judge a song just based on my own taste.
Critical as I usually am, I honestly can't fault this one. It's really well-produced, can't think of any element I would like to have changed on it. Beats are ultra-fat, really dig those triple kick rolls.
very nice job, I like this alot.
