next metal project almost same sound(s) as in "crushed cans" - my previous metal post. different riffs, other structure and some words.... hope you like it!
I think the drumming is already a lot better than in Crushed Cans, and some riffs are really tasty... But you still miss some modern double bass loops that flow along with the riffing, kinda like Fear Factory or Caliban... And like Yenneman mentioned in your other song, definitely a lack of hihats. I like the main melodic riffing (like in the beginning and around 3'50"), would love to hear that on double bass drive. \m/ \m/ \m/
hehe.....more variation and more bass????..... cool
The voice is a bit too loud imo. The electronic whirlwind at 1'58" is a great addition ;) The thing I miss the most (apart from hihats, as Rabauw mentioned) is a bit variation from a bassguitar, it doesn't always have to follow the lead guitar's melody, but actually adds some sort of countermelody in lots of songs. Just an idea of course...
the problem is that the distorted guitar sound I created from my favoite FL SLayer preset comes with basssound inclusive. I could filtr that away and have a seperate bassinstrument added to do different things... but it still is my second song. I'm learning here and best way to learn is to listen to others so I'm very glad you took time to write sumtin down. Will try it out later (after holiday...)
got to agree with what has been said already i guess, it has good heavy elements, things that need te be worked out more, beef up some base, put some more variation in it and you could make this a monster track.
