nice! beats are good, but indeed a bit unclear. a bit louder in the mix, or indeed compression could do the trick. good type of emotion, like it, it has a little dark sence, but not that much. a bit strange maybe. yeah rf(n°), I would say: integrate the beat a bit more in your sound, it really works!
