a story about a short encounter with a girl and her straightforward idea of life. the lyrics are 'sung' using a voice generator... quite happy with the lady doing the chorus, still searching for a good second voice. these are the lyrics: downtown at night discolights on the dancefloor a girl dancing to this track a smile on her face i asked her why then she turns around and she says CHORUS you gotta live, 24/7 cease the day, embrace the night take a stand, make things right get up and live, 24/7 now is the right time to take a u-turn in this life my room in the morning sunlight on my pillow this track on the radio a smile on my face no question why when she turns around and says: CHORUS evening at the station moonlight on the dash this track on the radio sadness in her eyes i wonder why then she waves goodbye and she says: CHORUS x2 (edit 05/06/2009: moved from icz to general) (composed with noisetrekker2 - 142 bpm)
i like that idea, mrmute... i might try it out.
nice song indeed! very nice sound ;) keep going..
i liked the song, great sound, love those style of basslines, to bad its used so many times before, but you sure made a good variant on it! nice one and thnx for the tips for the voice generator.
nice, sounds like adult. maybe you can throw the structure around a bit and introduce the melodic part somewhere in the middle. in some sort of verse-chorus style.
thanks fellas. if you liked this, you might want to check out my other song 'surfing on waveforms' at http://www.electrobel.be/muzik/20987/surfing_on_waveforms

Nice song. Reminds me a lot to the "surfing on waveforms" track u made earlier. Good variation. I would like to hear some work from you with some great software & plug-ins.
the chorus voice was done with 'textaloudmp3'. for the other voice someone from ebel actually pointed this out: i used the voice gen demo from at&t labs, http://www.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php
hey, wich voice gen. did you use? catchy stuff. I would introduce the second synths a bit earlyer.
