pffff.... another old fart where I need some of your thoughts. made the first melody early 2008, added beats and other things few months later...so now its going online. Its 6/4 ,melodic beat-oriented listening track. biggest question is what do you think of that 80's kinda synth in the middle....fits or not?
mmmyeah... heum... considering what you've got until now, it doesn't really fit imo 'cuz the sound is quite sharp, whereas the rest (except for the beat) is quite "round"... But it can make a nice contrast, i mean it's not really a problem as it is now... In fact, i think if you choose one of the too (contrast or homogeneity), it will be better... Oh, and some chords with that synth would be cool, make it deeper and i think that's where this track will go...deep And finally, when relistening, I would (but that's again just an opinion)definitely drop that aowing bass and add a softer one...

sounds like chiptune to me^^ probably skiptune I guess. not bad but I'm not really enthusiastic about it, it sounds to clean for me , however, the melos are great and structure tight. the beats could use a more jungle feel instead of a dnb break feel imo. cheers

I would leave out the bass synth if I were you. It's too loud, too odd and takes away too much attention from everything else, which was a chill composition but I had to focus too much to hear the melodies.
I like this synth! Very old school The beat is a little too simple i think. Perhaps you should made it more "complex" with some breaks. That's just my mind^^ Nice one as usual
I like the melody in the beginning very much, euhh idd maybe more complex beats. That bass at the end is ciool too btw grtz
