The grass always seems greener on the other side, but it never really is....
not being an IDM-lover... I can really dig this track. Nice one!
nice track indeed. the clicks in the first part kind of kill the atmosphere of the bass sometimes. the transitions are very well done. the only negative comment is about those few clicks actually :)
very nice track... but i noticed something is wrong with the sound-quality (clicks & bad harmonics). It is either due to a bad MP3-encoder and/or your PC is not powerfull enough to record the track without buffer-skips... I would really try to record it again without clicks and use a better MP3-encoder (hint : sound-forge), because this really is an AWSOME TRACK... really my style...
nah; the clicks are due to compressor on the bass sound ... i did the track on multitrack (10tracks to be exact), then rendered to wav, then compressed to mp3 using LAME ... ;) They aren't THAT loud :) and they don't happen that often you don't mean this "clinky" sounds that i put and you can hear in the beginning ?
I'm liking this one. it's also good that you made a change at the 2 minute mark. but I'd like to have some punchier drums. also I was thinking that this could be a good electro track. like, keep the first to minutes. and then slap a nice beat on it after those two minutes. but I like it anyway :)
it's kinda cool but i really think the intro is way too long ... beat is cool but it sounds more like electronica to me ... nice work
That's dark wave!!!! :-) Mmmmmm I Like it!!! Ann Clark could sing on it!!! Excellent!
At Your Best!!!!!!!!!!
it' only greener on the other side because ther more shit over there. That way it grows beter ;-) nice track btw
This comment does not apply to this song only, but to several of your works. What I like about them the most is the general dark atmosphere, but there's one thing... I've noticed it in several of your songs, and it's the bpm. Somehow, given the structure and ideas you put in the tracks, I have the impression they're always a few bpm too slow... Like I said before, they got a great laid back atmosphere, perfect for late night listening, but even then I guess they could be a lil' bit faster. In my opinion, several of your songs seem to be 5 to 10 bpm too slow... just need to increase a little bit. I don't know really why but for the type of music and soundpicture, they feel uncomfortably slow... It's a tendency I've noticed as a consistent flaw throughout your portfolio.
