This is in fact a tribute to the nice classical song Mendelssohn once wrote. Not much credit go out to me on this one. I just picked two synthsounds that matched the feeling I had with this song and tweaked them a tiny bit. Don't expect drums or buildup or anything. I made this about a year and a half ago on about 20 minutes (like I said, I just made the synthsounds)

Wow… awesome synthesizers. I’m not familiar with the original so I guess it’s hard for me to judge. But I really like the sound picture, kinda trancy synths. I guess for you it was a relieving intermezzo in-between all the hard work for the cd?

"I made this about a year and a half ago on about 20 minutes" It was a relief from all the 4/4 stuff i was doing back then. Everything that I make now is for the cd (and takes huge amounts of time :()

Thanks. Nice detail on this one I forgot: one of the synths is monophonic. The original composition of that instrument was very polyphonic with sometimes chords of 4-5 notes on top of each other. The monophony made it more simple and sometimes ad random. How a 'mistake' can turn out ok :))
very interesting... probably the first song here on ebel with only two synthsounds... and yet so colourfull! Makes me wanna make one with one synth!! (i'm always in for some competition)
