Welcome to Owdio. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. About Owdio

Owdio is a community-driven platform for sharing, discovering, and listening to independent music. The service is provided on a non-commercial basis for artists and listeners.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, or have parental consent where required.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or harm the community.

3. Content you upload

  • You may only upload music and related material that you own or have the right to share.
  • You must select an appropriate licence for each track you publish (see our Licensing page).
  • You grant Owdio a limited licence to host, stream, and display your content solely to operate the platform.
  • You must not upload content that is illegal, infringing, hateful, harassing, or otherwise harmful.

4. Community behaviour

When participating in communities, chat, comments, or shared listening, you agree to be respectful. Spam, impersonation, harassment, and attempts to disrupt the service are not allowed. Community moderators may remove content or restrict access within their communities.

5. Intellectual property

Respect the rights of other artists. If you believe content on Owdio infringes your copyright, please contact us with enough detail for us to review the claim.

6. Service availability

Owdio is provided “as is”. We work to keep the platform running smoothly but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Features may change as the project evolves.

7. Termination

You may stop using Owdio at any time. We may remove content or close accounts that breach these terms. Sections that reasonably should survive termination (such as content licences granted to other users under your chosen licence) will continue to apply.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Owdio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
