thank u eddie, I want to review techno when I come in the techno section, not something with a 4/4 beat and tries to sound like techno I think ppl are really screwing up the techno section like this , too bad
you have been listening to goa, haven't you? ;) the scale used in (a part of) this song is a dark/evil sounding scale used in quite a few goa tracks. It appears the melody shifts into another scale throughout the song... i would rather avoid this. Next point of criticism: this is not real techno.. romek is right. In general, i need more than a (rather basic) rhythm and one melody line to be interested in a song.. back to the drawing board i'm afraid. I have the feeling (but could be mistaken) that you should listen to more different styles of music in order to broaden your stylistic background. I only hear this kind of hardstyle trance (or whatever it's called) in your music, almost no other influences..
It is more trance/rave than techno but the track is very good... I just have to say that the first melody is a bit too joyous for me :-) and there is one or two volume problems but very little problem... I like that track !
