how do you make a beat like that ?? I keep trying but i never get anything that good
that's just an amen break i think ... cut/pasted and transformed
amen idd slice en then transform it not that hard
okay, but like, what do you mean by transform ? do you like slice it on every sound ? or do you not slice it completely ? I'm just a big newbie when it comes to sampled beats i guess.. You think you could write a small tutorial ? with maybe a couple of screenshots ? that would rock tha casbah :)
hmm yeah its weekend so i will euhm screenshot will folow but just open a amen in a new slicer channel en then it separates every snare drum hh and so on then you can change it as much as you like
I made a tut but would not have a clue how to put it in here. articles?
fruity slicer massive :) or cut the beat into pieces in acid and draw the beat you want.. vive le bricolage :)
hehe ... u already know what i think about beat sampling pk :p
beat sampling beat sampling. you are not going to tell me that you started back in the days withouth sampling other peoples stuff. I think a lot of people here produce for fun and not for the image you get. that's how I see it.
cool jo here is some nice sampling-software.1)use buzz effects in fruity to excite, distort and phase.2)you can make nice acoustic drums with acoustic mirror(soundforge).3)fruity>simple jungle-drumming>bring sample in slicer, adjust bmp, pitch, use it in the granuliser to make patterns(you can adjust the start point of the sample.don't forget to use the quadrafuzz vst/dx.now you have cool beat. and about beatsampling:digital music isn't real music, the sounds you produce can never beat analogue synthesis or analogue recording.the system is too abstract, but it's just another way to expend your orientation within the realm of music.aaaaight. if you need more help, let me know. i ain't vain when it comes to bricolage
