i played a bit with heatfuses latest track, giving it som d-bot flavor... I added some filters, delays, reverd, distortion, eq. and i doubled up the beat with an effected beat of my own. keep in mind i only had the finished mp3, and only played with it for about an hour. I kept the main structure of the song only the beat starts a bit earlier. It still needs more variation in th beat and the ending is abrupt. i will work some more on this one this week so and comments would be welcome! now go and listen to the original and add it to your favourites! ;)
I like it a lot good moods and changes therein too bad the bassline is not what it should be (but hey, i know it's not easy ) nice work

@cestqui. no problem i can take critique, always better to get a honest comment... i started this remix because i liked the original and wanted to show how i would have finished a track like this. the distrotion wasn't there in the original, but i really like distortion... (check out some of my other tracks) funny you mention the sound of a radio, because a few years ago i used to sample that kind of sound to make a track. the intro was even longer in the original... heatfuse has provided me with the original audiotracks and i will try to do a PROPER remix this weekend. I think the distortion will still be there... ;)

yes most people say the intro is too long, but mind that in the original song I didnt want to stick with classic song structures. there is no intro, no middle piece and no end, instead there is sadness, loneliness, self-contemplation, hope and determination. you need to let yourself get carried away...(first song that comes with a manual :p)

yep really chilly athmosphere would like to hear more evolution in the beat and melo before the end, and intro is a way too long for me very nice track, good work!! :p
i agree with those comments,but i add somethin>> the distortion u used is so ugly,its like a radio ,that cant hold the frequency,and wants to zap to another station very very bad i think,never heared the original,so i dont know where it came from i think i was even more bored with the intro then aphone,skipped a lot just blame me for beeing honost,blame yourself for the poor sound,realy messed it up for me anyway,i'm sure ya will do better next time,and i'll listen again,so it wasen't that bad either. ,greetz
