Start your musical journey by discovering amazing songs and artists
I started it during the eastern hollyday coming back from tje sea side on a windy day... Decided to finish it after some littles edits. If you have ideas..... enjoy::::: : : : : : : :
@aia:i'm happy i was already making music for some time before discovering electrobel. you' would've killed me :). about windy day. i think that some more soundexperimenting would be good for you. play around with some synths.try to master them and use them in a percussif way.a great way to find original beat sounds. learn how to create tension by structure, try to imagine a song like it would be a building:the fundament must be very good if you don't want it to collapse.don't be afraid to make more conventional things to learn how to make a descent structure, only then you'r ready to go for experimental stuff.this song has imo some good ideas but there is no story or cohesion between the parts. i have a feeling that you want to express something but you lack the words or the grammatics.sincere greets
Now, I see that someone gave a thumb down without any comment, and that's very lame. Anyway, this thumb down function should be removed.
All was in the previous message. Do something on your sound texture and the structure of your track & give some personality, how can an advice be better than to say to someone "believe in you" ? Now, if you think that that was low and nonconstructive, than maybe you're just too arrogant to accept a critic. Work your rhythm samples, they sounds old (et trop entendu) and the rhythm structure, more playing, more cuts, variation. Same thing for the melody, if you want to make contemporary melodies, please, do listen to contemporary artists, like Belà Bartók for example. Learning come from experimentation, that's right but also from listening to other artists in other music styles. Coming back to your melody, it's insipid, make it live. Look @ your title : windy day. I don't feel any wind in your melody. Last things, improve your mastering skills, use a panoramic FX on each tracks of the same composition & a right equalization, listen carefully and place each track in the space, music is like the universe, it needs harmony, rhythm & tempo, even in chaos.
lol: i don't feel any wind in your track.
Yo, That's what I was talking about!(contructive...) I'll think about your advises for a new track! But actually for the drum sounds and the main rythm I didn't really wanted to achieve something else... but you'r right may be I should break it a bit more! Thx a lot man! Ps: I'm only waiting for critics...that's why I'm on Electrobel! Peace
pas mal du tout j ai bien voyager bon beat sa merite 1 point aller a+ man et peace
icteder, maybe I would have killed you, but I would be proud of you now, yeah, it's a compliment, enjoy, it does not often happen. :)) particle, no I'm not exaggerating at all. I follow the electronic music wave since I'm 13 y.o., now I'm 36 and in 23 years, I've eared a lot of different music & a lots of soundtextures. That's why I can be so rude sometimes and has Letrange is a beginner, it's right now that we must help him, not in a few years. Now, I'm sure he will put more efforts on the next track, and that's a good thing. Sometimes, you need implacable comments to evolve. It's not like I advised him to play with his playstation instead of trying making music. :))
yep First, thx for the coment, at least you have spend time to say what you think of it! But you should know that I'm not trying to do something original, I'm just trying to get a fucking sound out of my computer. That's, I think, the very first step to start with music! And after comes the style, the creativity! So I find these kind of commetz quite Low, quite Poor for a guy that could shurly give some more constructive advises! Think about it... Peace
I'm a little bit tired of that lack of creativity. Always the same structure, the same sound textures, ... Why trying to do what others already does ? Peoples should be more confident in their own creativity !
i thought it was pretty good
