80 bpm C min [b]EDIT 1:[/b] Changed the song structure and added 5 NI Massive tracks to the existing 5 Korg R3 tracks. ----------------------------------------------------- Lullaby in C minor. First track made with my brandnew Korg R3. Beats on EMX. Mix and Recording on Ableton Live. Any advice on where to go from here more than welcome.
maybe it needs some additional layering ... phasing in & out
lovely vibe. maybe give one element more reverb to create a certain space between elements. or little details. or a soundscape behind everything. or more and more piano notes towards the end. or a subtle evolution towards an upbeat beat,4/4 becoming 4/8 or an extra element wich doesnt supports the melody but rather just little noises wich function as a little machine wich provides the power for your little melody (melody box) or verry low pads or strings to have a solid basis...to work it all out into something more and more complex to finally end up with that first sweet melody. or just work on it impulsively, can have great results sometimes. enjoyed it :))

thanks people. Indeed this song lacks quite some work. Also am I not really persuaded about the structure. I posted it under ICZ to collect some ideas about where to go from here. Simplicity was one of the main limits I set myself. So please... share what this song tells you. I am very keen on your advice.
nice idea, it sounds idd a bit empty,which is nice but it's a bit repeating imo,, some other parts wouldn't hurt i think...
Waaw.. No use of many sounds in this one, but you sure know how to select your sounds! and make deep feelings come up.. I really hope you'll update the song someday.. It has so much potential to make it a more amazing track with those sounds and notes.. It makes people think! Maybe add a chill/quiet break.. one who gently caress the rest of the song.. That's what i would do.. But Still that choise is up to you! :d Grts,

very nice, !!! would use somekind of reverb on the hats sometimes, make it more spacy .. maybe gentle vocal in it.. but, agin , very nice in my opinion. like the simplicity in it ... greetz
