inspired by the 'how to make an acid loop" I tried making an acid song, but it turned out trance ... what ya gonna do about it? actualy its the first trance song I make public ever. I don't even listen to trance :D

While I'm listening: Starts off as goa :D A minute later: definitely still goa ok, goa. Not bad, but it lacks something and I can't put my finger on it. Still: respect
someone who doesn't know you don't aim to make goa trance would probably say 'a good attempt at goa'. but a good one nonetheless, well produced and well worked out. why would you care about the style label? good music stands for itself and doesn't need to confine itself to the boundaries of a certain music style. i'd add some spacey swirley sounds at some spots, but that's only my opinion.
well I don't really care about songlabels. I care more for the 'rules' and 'tricks' and 'twists' that make up a style ... If you askk me what I like and I tell you electro, that doesn't mean anything. it could be electropop, wave, booty, oldskool hiphop ... anything. But if I tell you hard analogue drums with scifi style harsh synth basses and robot voices, you get the picture more ... If someone tells me "this is goa" I would like to know why it is so ...
Very good track man ! But this is more acid trance than goa... Flashy J you better get inspired by that track to make yours...
