I've been experimenting with alot of VSTi's, and this time, not just presets. I used just one VSTi for the bass reece: JUNGLIST (and a few VST effects like the equaliser and shit) Please tell me what you think about it. I tried to master it as good as possible... I'm off to study my productionmanagement. Gotta learn what kinds of cameracrews there are.. Cheers!
hmm don't know, listened to this with my headphones (of great quality) and through this the mastering sounds very bad, but of course I don't know with what kind of sound system you made this. The reece sound too "krakerig" (don't know the translation for this), and overall it sounds like too much in red (which means "kapotte soundsystem" als ge het volume wa naar omhoog trekt ;-) ). Apart from the mastering, an ok beginning.
reece could be more bassyer, the "mutant" is way to loud imo, beats could use some more compression and could be higher. Nice idea and good luck with the finals
don't know bout the technical stuff of dnb but this doesn't sound bad.
Hard to believe you were the guy bashing me for my dnb-tracks less then one year ago....
imo there is to much stereo panning on the reece. try finishing man ,sounds alright
Rude - 09 January 2007 repetitive cheap melody you got there mate, getting quite irritating after a while dude lol drums are missing something tho.. Maybe you should sample some cymbals..? Cheers tho Rude - 15 February 2007 Anyway, about the song, bassreece is really repetitive Vocals are bad quality etc Anyways, not saying your song is as bad as you called mine, but it misses a lot. Reece overdistorted, not enough bass in it, overcompression (I think, those cymbals gum up the works imo), but I wouldn't call it bad soit, just think it's Ironic thats all
don't diss cruize man about the song : meer opvulling verijst reece kan ook beter de structuur ook
nice song man could use some more variationz. lol at cruizeoffiction (: ehehh
hey man , no to bad ? like most people said , the mastering could have some improvements , just keep workin on it and it will shurely improve ;) grts
A pity for your mastering... Too granular... but the general idea is cool. Keep up
