...follow-up to Eatable Tunes,(cuz)I kept most sounds. This one has a certain suspence -what does it make you think of EDITION: kept first part alot like it was,Didnt add a real big climax and extra sounds and all that, wanted to keep that original atmosphere, added varitions of beat and melo's (mélopers), added 2 phoscyons for acidizing. Did some mastering. Little mood-twist at the end. This wil be one of the last fast-chip-drill-melo-tunes....for now...I think, focussing on other mix of genres atm. happy listening
great comme d'habitude! needs indeed some more work but i'm allready very sure this will become another classic^^
dik once again!
yeah, needs some work, but I'm sure you'll be able to work it out. add more layers, put some more backgroundbeats in it, tralali tralala, maybe a climax yeah. I'm sure you'll figure it out all right.
very nice like the atmospere that the arrangement gives to the song :p i mean the combination of the bass and melodies, needs some more work indeed (climax and ending) big up!
héhé, so I'm really looking foward for that big bang climaxx man! :D
cool cool, great feedback guys, just what I needed. agree on every point. Will do some try-outs. Its true, the technique and sort-of sound Ive used here for the beats is a technique I kinda used for the last 6 months,Its idd time for some evolution in that. And I agree to make the beats towards the end harder, heavier and more wicked until the climax. Also thought about one-timer samples,Ill check my files...disagree on the coin-grab sound, is overused imo ;) Ill also try to make some spacey fight sounds, like an epic battle that end in a huge explosion; bigbang-styler. Climax will be massive. (now that I said it, ill have to make it true) thanx again for listening and commenting, apreciate it.
listening on crappy speakerz, so judgment isnt clear, but, i love it, i totally recognise ur melo's, its more skip than u think... except for some false notes and some missing climate/beat melody changes it was a nice listening imo
what it made me think of: gameboykingdom in a period just before an all destroying war or something. interpretating this as a whole bunch of gameboycharacters peparing for their last stand... what coudl be improved: maybe make intro a bit longer with a drop of drums for half a measure, a measure none, again... also i think more countermelodies are needed. to live up the nervousity. a unique sample her or there (unique meaning only once in the song) like a the grab coin sounds from mario land (songs over, still in gameboy land, help, me want out). an acidline is allways fun, but beware you don't make this too similar to eatable tunes (unless that's the point, with the similar title and stuff) if it was me, i'd let hell break loose at the last 30sec or something. it really is something i'd expect to happen whit this kind of nerve wrekking tune. it really grinds my gear if the anticipated climax stays out, preparing for it all that time, and then you find yourself at the end, without a climax, rrrrzealy frustrating... back to song: never said this, but i enjoy the pads in your songs, they kinda sound like cheap strings or so, but they help build that amazing athmosphere your songs have. beats sound a bit to familiar to me, an unexpected sound in there could really light them up, dunno what i'm talking about, just seems that way to me at this point in time. anyhow, khebbet al int snotje, da wordt weer een goedje ;) ps, btw, that hell to break loose i was talking about doesn't necessarly needs to breakcore, which is easely assumed with my background ;)
good foundation for a song. But indeed there is deff a need for more elements Also the mix & soundquality isn't all that... work on it! thmub up^^
Héhé, Actually before I even red one word of the comment of ISKARIOT, I was thinking of the momment when a Massive Intergalactik Space Ship is preparing to a huge space War! Maybe a 1:40 I would make the drop in more massive-> bigger bass? and more breaks and more sounds... Nice Story
