try to make a bazeline not that high played,lower keys,just transpose it an octave down,you schould understand it,cause you do musicscool wich i realy cant put out of your melody's i dont like the piano solo,they are hit to hard,play around with your velocety's,i think you better use a rhodes sound,to play that piano bit,would fit better; has potential though,work work work on it greetz

Well, I tried what you said (I indeed understand what you mean) - transposed the bassline an octave down, and the result was - as I excpected - a very muddy bass sound. This bass however fits in the current composition. I would not like a sub bass in this track (for now). I think you like sub basses more than I do ;) (It's a fretless e-bass sound, if you want to know.) I also let the solo part play on a rhodes sound in place of the piano, like you mentioned. However that doesn't work as good as the current piano sound (in my humble opinion). And maybe the notes do sound a bit hard. High pitched notes do that on a piano. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.

bassline is good, but as cestqui said, better to put it one octave lower. rhodes are okay. paino is, well, I don't really know. I like it, but its too repetetive. I mean, it is too simple to keep on repeating. So try to elaborate it a bit. Also, I think mixing and mastering could be better (but I'm listing to it on laptopspeakers, so far from ideal). kr, edd

I will use another bass sound, no worries... This one is just to use for the idea - I make the basic arrangement first, later on I take care of the sounds. I agree the piano solo is to repetitive. At the moment it's just 2 bars. Good point, I will add something. I'm not so familiar with mixing and mastering since I don't do it a lot (never really have). Here I just recorded the whole thing in a single take via (maybe I shouldn't say this) my on-board sound chip - no money at the moment for an OK interface - and processed the whole thing a bit. Lots of keyboard? I consider 2 keyboards isn't that much, altough it's just enough for me. If you're referring to those pictures on my website, that are pictures of a synthesiser shop, not my home studio! :D

Is it possible that the bassline allready existed? It has a familar feeling to it... Some song with the lyrics ....'is what you feeeeeeel....'' in it... Nice piano melo's, but there could be so much more into it... I'm curious for a next edit...Grtzzz
