Not bad idea, but i have some suggestions to make it sound really better, and feel more trancy : - don't do reverb on your bassdrum ( it just weakens it and doesn't add anything but noise to the soundscape ) - add some delay on the melody ( it makes the melo a little more full ) - try to add more voices, more melodies, otherwise it sounds really minimal - the arrangement is just too slow... just speed up, don't let the listener ask himself when the next thing will happen , you have to suprise him ! And finally, maybe you could master that a little bit , here is a cool link for an effective , and time-costless way of doing decent track mastering : Mastering 101 on trance.nu ! Keep up your work, if you have questions regarding to trance production, just ask them in the forum and the other trance producers would be glad to help you :) Greetz !

Kick is not powerfull enough and sounds typical fruity, same with clap. There is more into a decent drumline then a kick a hihat and a clap. Typical oompa bassline, too basic. Sounds a bit like a midi file with some delay reverb. + I would not consider calling a 3 note - melody trance, it gets plain boring after 3 minutes. Try having some more elements and more variation + improve your sound a lot. Seems like there is no mastering at all. Just a simple normalise can allready prevent us from the need to turn up the volume.
