It were the sweet sounds of múm which drove me to dubbleclick on the ableton icon this time The title is about how nice days/times always pass wayyy too fast. I find it frustrating that it's always afterwards you fully realize what a great time you had. So again the undefyable-heid of time eigelijk EDIT: I removed the bit reduction on the guitar eventually. I hope there's not too much contrast between the clean guitar and the 'dirty' beat now EDIT2: Omdat ik nu toch té veel vrije tijd heb (echt te veel, serieus), I decided to 'remaster' this track a bitjen. I EQ'd everything a bit, I panned everything a bit; incl. the beats and I put reverb an most of tracks. Daarvoor vrat de bas alles op + tgeheel klonk a bit dof and shitty. I think it's better now. not per sé comments needed, but always welcome
@particle: idd very plezant : ( but achja @omihosbin: I'm working on a new ambient song :] @skip: I tried automation but it didn't sound pretty good so yeah, en vree merci pour le comment+muzikale suggestie; kben al aant soulseeken sie
waw.....vree sweet....luv it kerel....lekker deuntjen geseeft dan nog wel
thanx ^^ I'm working on it owyea, it's 'bit reduction' I had better not used it because it kinda sucks, you can't reduce the effect op een deftige manier and are you referring to the beat or guitars?
...reminds me alot of B.Fleischmann who uses that kinda "filter" alot...I can apreciate this...but indeed some automation would bring more dimension... Nice composition anywayz kerel...really. (Super dikken aanrader B.Fleischmann - Take Your Time....is wel een stuk van drie kwartier...ma fucking hemels imo) cheerz En vree wijzen titel btw
mainly the guitar, i think bit reduction fits better on beats but don't overuse it, confucius said : never use too much fx, it's bad for the soul! confucius was a wise man! i know the feeling ze, bit reduction sounds very plezant, i've got a track called goodbye for now also with that effect on one of the main melodies mr achteraf gezien hadk die bit reduction er beter uitgelaten
ja goed spul zeg! agree with harry about that crunchyness, nothing more to add ;)
hewelja verdorie! that's the way i like it!
thanks yes it's indeed ietske derover hé but automations..no idea how that works in ableton (gaat da?) edit: khebt al ;) dus laat maar
pretty nice, but that overall crush is a bit annoying.. maybe try using automations, where you'd turn the glitch on and off at certain points op zich a good track, juist that glitch is a bit too much
very good dreamy track, i like tzem beats, ge zoet er meer mee kunnen doen, duim!
