I've been working on this for quite a while. Wanted to do something different, with distorted synths and clashing sounds. I built it, then tore the song apart and restructured it in a stranger way. I think it's got a nice, dirty sound picture. Feedback appreciated! The machines are alive! They are communicating do you understand what they're saying? UPDATE 1 NOVEMBER 2006: Remastered and remixed, with a heavier kickdrum.
Ja vel ! Guys, you can't critique the melody ! It's the machines talking ! Don't you get it ! SOLDOMI SOLDOMI ! OK :) I just woke up and hung over ! This is pretty nice Rabauw style of course !

Love the intro sounds. Very rabauwish melodies. The twist at 1'37" isn't my cup of tea. It's a pity that you didn't use the same kind of drumpatterns from the beginning in the middle part, but they probably wouldn't fit the melo then...still, a very nice effort to try something new.
I see your point, Bandar, but I can't help it...it's just my way of working... layers, I have a very linear style. And it's only the middle part where it's linear heh :) For me, this was something new and exciting to produce, but of course I can't help developing it with a 'rabauwish' touch, like the 5/4 part - I love a nice odd time sig from time to time :).
The mix is good, but i don't think this kind of melody fit well in the sort of song it is. Like when you make a melody, then the bass plays the same melody then another synth...this structure sounds more like rave to me :) maybe you could make a different more dissonant melody? Liked the end btw!

indeed something different, in particular i like that 70's synth theme... the machinez are saying: kill the humanz, kill the humanz!!
yeahhh man , cool vibe i liked it alot theres some groovy mooves in this song, nice break in the middel... maybe the vocalz you could play more with and the Drrex drum preset (1:36) sound too mutch reason for me ... very catchy track but maybe more melo would help too... anyway i like it as it is now!! thumbs up
