My usual cybercocktail; groovy guitars, atmospheric synths and my typical vocals. Your honest comments appreciated! Cheers! ---------------------- It started with a promise in make-belief And all the fake smiles sucked us into the greed And we had a taste of the power and might And for our naivety we will burn tonight We shall burn tonight! We got stabbed in the back and we were left for dead It’s been our fate all along and it’s a common fact that In this hideous world we had but one thing to fear And that’s our own stupidity and incapacity... ...To react! To respond! To the trap that sprung! To free ourselves from the tyrants! We shall burn tonight! We’re forced into a straitjacket of thoughts And we swallowed it like it was all we ever wanted They’ve breached our confidence, our gullibility They got us cornered Our backs pushed against the wall To react! To respond! To the trap that sprung! To free ourselves from the fucking tyrants!
very very nice, but indeed, the kickdrum has got something which does not absolutely please me... if i were the one who made this, i'd make it a little deeper, but bearing in mind that i too do whatever i like in my songs, i would even apreciate it more if you'd simply say no, and why :D (besides, nice fact that i'm able to actually move this comment-window, while listening again) very nica track, even after a second time. i'll add it to my fav's :)
sounds like you could use a läkerol bonbonneke :D
Realy Rabauw song.....next a cool song.... i like and the BD to ...i'm not derenged by this.... :))
niiiiiiiice!!again!! yea you did it again nice work on the vocals and composition rabauw :) only thing: the bassdrum which hits kinda fast each time, i think it's nice, but not all the time :) gets a litlle annoying after a while... Apart from that i got a load of positive comments: first of all, your melodic work!man it's just great, really makes me think of a rock-band of which i don't know the name :) the guitars also very nice, some nice background filler and there you have it: again supertrack delivered!! quality producing ;) Cheers mr rabauw
wooooooh...i didn't know you were in metal...hell man, marylin Manson can go kick babies ;)...no, it's nothing comparable to you, it's very......very good simply...nice lyrics and emotion, nice vibe..everything all right *clap clap clap* man !
yeah man werry good and clean sounds.... and lyrics are great too...werry nice work
Well thank you all very much! @distreality/Dehomunculus: About the bassdrum; I've had many people wondering about the sound of it before (also on other songs) and to be frank, I've tried it many many many times with a different kick in different settings, and for me this is still the one I like the most and which I find the best fitting, so yeah of course I'd use the one I'd like the most myself! ;) But thanks for your honest criticism, it's what I want. @transynth: thanks for your massive support dude! Really appreciate it! About the kick hits: this is quite normal for this kind of music, not sure if you often listen to rockbands that have this pounding rhythm but it's quite normal in the genre, mind that the drummer usually plays double bass so it's far from unnatural a rhythm ;-) @crocodilebedo: thanks! But I honestly don't see any parallels between this and Manson and I don't like his music at all in fact. @sincha; didn't know you're into this kind of music? :-)
and great lyrics!!
not my style but is fat track! good power, feeling, and i love the part 3min 30 to end; very clean sound texture ( love your synthe) my vote for overall: 90%
